Oh man I read the first two volumes of this WAY back when I was still in the Navy, had to have been around 2002-2003. It was a cute series but I didn't care about it enough to keep following it past those two volumes.

But Disney doing this? That manga has a bit too much religion in it I would think for them to want to touch it. And it's kinda central to the plot so it's not like they could easily cut it out. But hey, whatever. I'd...probably go see it?

I guess only one manga fits the bill for Disney.

The concept of the manga seems creative, but I'm not sure how Disney is gonna squeeze out that religious stuff.

If Disney can take the homicidal puppet out of Pinocchio and the suicide of the little mermaid out of The Little Mermaid, I think they can pull this off.

I read Tuxedo Gin a few years back and I loved it. I've forgotten most of the stuff in it by now and I have no idea how much I'd enjoy it again. I tried re-reading it but it fell victim to my backlog of stuff...

This movie will be interesting to watch.

I'll watch it, but only if Johnny Yong Penguin plays as the penguin. He's going to be in Happy Feet 2 after all.

This could be really good. I've not read the manga, but it sounds like a sweet story.
