:( A great actor has left us. He will be missed but remembered for great roles such the grandfather/narrator in the classic fantasy tale The Princess Bride and his most famous role as the ever persistent Detective Columbo.

I completely admit it- I only know him as the narrator in The Princess Bride ><" But I liked him in that role.

Sleep well, Pete.

He was one of the "background voices" to my childhood, as my dad was a big Colombo fan. And of course, I knew him more for his short but awesome and vital part in The Princess Bride.

No more one more things. :(

F&C: was that The In-Laws? I loved that movie, not the execrable remake.
