I am still mixed on this. I do not like how everything is CGI basically. I mean it is basically Avatar just green instead of blue. The suit did not need to be CGI. That is really stupid. I will hold judgement till I actually see the movie. I hope that it will be great.

No unlike avatar it will have a good plot. The suit i think looks better CG, it gives it more of a laternesc look as weird as that sounds. This movie needs this CG because in the latern universe there are some weird stuff that could not be done by all animatronics or actors.

I do agree but there are certain things that annoy me. Like why are Sinestro and Abin Sur all CGI? They could have easily been make-up and prosthesis. Also why is everyone speaking in British accents? That is really annoying and I feel inaccurate to the comics. Yes I know that there is no sound in comics but in every media interpretation they have always has American accents not British.

Sinestro and Abin Sur are Cg because it in the long run for those characters is gonna look better, and more consistent. And the british accent thing really doesn't bother me because as long as they aren't messing up the comic they can speak whatever language they feel

I'm bored sick of Superhero flicks and really never cared to see another one (except the next Batman and ONLY cause Catwoman is in it). I thought this was going to be another poop in the litter box. But after seeing the second trailer, I really wanna see this one. This looks awesome! Know absolutely nothing about Green Lantern but this looks a lot better than the standard superhero formula. I like the fact that it seems to take place a lot on another planet... I always thought like Wonder Woman and such had much more interesting home worlds than coming to earth to save the day in generic comic book fashion.

But yeah, I really wanna see this now. I think the only complaint I had with this is the mask... it looks absolutely stupid here. The thing that ruins it is the eye balls I think. I think if they made them all white they could have gotten away with it a little better I think. Anyway, yeah the mask is kinda lame but... anyway...

I'm not familiar with Green Lantern, only Green Hornet. Personally, I give the trailer kudos for doing something different but it really all seems so silly. They're playing it so serious, I just don't think it works. But what do I know? I'm not a fan of the original comic.

Yeah thats a common thing with non lastern readers. To most people it seems stupid with weird aliens with rings of power. It is done really well, and work in that universe

No, because it is gonna the story of the very first Human Green latern so we are most likely not gonna see either of them even for a brief walk in. But if you want to count it, we may see like a news paper head line or hear a news report for a name drop. I personally hope the don't bring them in that early, because [SPOILER=Green Latern] Sinestro won't be a villian until movie 2 and Paralax is the villian for the first movie[/SPOILER]
