This won some kind of funniest commercial award the year I lived in Norway. If I'm understanding it correctly (and anyone who speaks Norwegian better than I do, feel free to correct me) the guy in the commercial taped the tv announcement that he won the lottery - I could be wrong, it may just be someone from his town, though - and is repeating his town's name over and over again as he watches the tape. And I'm pretty sure he's using a rather strong accent, but it's hard for me to tell since he only says the one word over and over again. Plus, you know, I'm not a native. lol. The town is called Verdal, but he's pronouncing it "Verdarn." His face and the way he says it cracks me up.
