I remember seeing a trailer for this way back at what, Pirates 3? Something like that anyway. It looks decent.

Is it the extended trailer? I saw a longer one when I went to see Beowulf.

I really want to see this movie. I'm a bit concerned about getting sick due to shaky cam, but I think I'm going to try to tough it out just for the concept.

Trailer at Sweeney Todd was extremely amazing. I cannot wait to see this movie. It's rated PG-13 for "violence, terror and disturbing images". Sounds about right.

This movie looks like the Godzilla of the next generation.

Umm.. Bad Robot is making it. Bad Robot makes lost. Therefore Josh comes to the decision that cloverfield shall rock.

Totally seeing the midnight showing, I don't care if it's a school night.

I've been hyped for this ever since the first crappy videocammed trailer hit Youtube.

As soon as I saw the original trailer for this, I was bouncing up and down in my seat I was so excited. I love this style of film. I don't think I have ever anticipated a movie so much.

wow. just saw the trailer...and the whole shaky camera thing actually intrigues me. O_O I really want to see this movie...however I don't know why...but it felt like a video game type thing...but then I did just finish a level of half life 2. ^_^;

The shakey cam thing makes me nervous. Blair Witch was garbage, and I prefer my cameramen to not have Parkinsons.

This is why I have mix feelings over this movie. Shakey cam work makes me very sick and why I couldn't sit down and watch much of the Blair Witch Project. But I know that I didn't miss anything with that movie.

I just wanna know what's attacking the town? Alien? Giant lizard? Robot?

Guess they win with being as discrete about that whole aspect, to make people want to see it :/ I'm just not a fan of the home cam view :/

EDIT: Just tried looking it up, and it's apparently a monster... The only thing is, every supposed concept art I find of it, is very different :/ I guess it is a surprise for everyone.

I love the fact that they show every single thing BUT the monster, except for it's roar and destruction it leaves behind.

I can't wait to see it. :)

Everyone is against the shacky cam . Oh well i like that i think it is unique very different it also quite revolutionary. I know Blair Witch was trash but hey blair witch look like trash from the trailers so well if you expected more *shrugs* this actually looks good from the trailers.

I just like to be able to see what is going on. When watching Bourne Ultimatum, you could say that all those camera angles were a revolutionary thing too, BUT the cameraman looked like an amateur, with every still-shot being shaky :/ I just prefer a clear picture.

I don’t think that the camera views were that bad at all. In fact, I loved it. It adds to the sense of terror, fear, panicking, etc. and it gave me the feel that you were watching it all play out through a person‘s video camera instead of through a safe glass booth.

Anywho, I am really, really looking forward to it. Monster(s) causing mass destruction and terror = win on my part. Besides, that roar was awesomely freak-ay.

Its not very revolutionary, when people have a motion problem and can get sick by it. Then there is no point in watching something that they can't sit down and watch.

I'm looking very forward to this one. Looks like it could be potentially very good.

I just realized that the lack of information about the monster is very similar to the ads for the American Godzilla. Be afraid?

Godzilla was completely different though in the sense that everybody actually knew what Godzilla was anyways.

Nobody has a clue what the monster in Cloverfield is or what it's even going to look like.

False. That's nothing but a mind trick. The monster isn't going to be shown in anything until the movie comes out.
