but he told they're making Kung pow 2!
and then Kung pow 3!

I'm almost entirely certain the preview was a joke... but movies that make money get sequels. I bet movie 3 (if it happens) will have a "Next Episode" thing as well.

The preview in 1 was a colection of scenes not put in Kung Pow, not a trailer. The second doesn't even have a trailer yet.
