Wanna hear something funny? Before my art history class this morning, I was reading a mini-copy of Sports Illustrated that came with the morning paper. This guy was like, "whoa! A girl reading sports illustrated?!"
I chuckled and made mention of the fact that while I couldn't care less about basketball, baseball, golf or soccer, I did love football. I thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head.

who a girl who likes football you don't see that often hope i can find one but with my luck she would be a giants fan. That just would not work for one reason i am a Eagles fan, thats right i root McNabb and TO
GO Eagles GO
for Air force have a friend there.
as for playing i did a little in jr high but none in high school i had a bad knee and no team in high school due to a small private school as for postion i played D line man and back up fullback and run back in short yard
even with my bum knee i think i am going to try for a team at my college i figure i have a least a shot at back up Dline man i mean i am 6'1 250lb

I would go for it--if it's something you want to do, why not? We only get one life to live, would it be worth regretting not even trying your whole life? (note that that philosophy shouldn't be added to some things...like drugs, lol) If it's something you love, you should try it.

Yeah, female sports fans, especially for football, can be few and far between...but that's ok, I like hanging out with guys when it comes to sports. Girls get so emotional sometimes. -__-;;

I think the idea that girls don't like sports is based on the notion that it's
some how "Unfeminine" for a girl to be into atheletics.

Guys get emotional too. e.g. Brady after seeing his Super Bowl ring, started crying like a baby. Sorry to bring that up, I know there are a couple, ahem, people who dislike the Pats a little, but it's a good example nonetheless.

And yeah, go for it Aule. I used to play D-line, but was way too small for it. 250 is about right. I ws about 150 when I played that position in high school, but even then, just couldn't keep up with the big boys.

I say go for it aule1701, but i would be cautious if you still have that messed up knee. I loved playing football in middle school and highschool. I only played in highschool one year b/c i didn't want to mess up my knees, so that's when i joined the wrestling team. But I played left tightend and sometimes a wide receiver. I really enjoyed it, but i figured my knees were important so, yeah.... BUt if that's what you want to do go for it.

I agree. It's hard to find a girl that likes pro-football. So if I ever find one, all the better. I wouldn't even care if she liked the Patriots (though I would advice against it :)). It's already hard enough finding one that likes sports.

In pro football that would be the 49ers although if you've kept up with football this season...you may know they're going nowhere. Jerry Rice should just come back and retire in the city he grew up in.

Anyways, I'm going for the Eagles although they do win their games by a large margin all the time...kinda like the Patriots.

Considering I'm a cowboy fan I'm not a big eagles fan. But I really want the Patriots to loose. So if they ever did play, go Eagles... ERRR>.....
