Meh. I'm not usually a big fan of series-based movies, because they always take place outside of the usual plot and are just... far-fetched, for lack of a better word. I think SpongeBob will be ok because, well, it never had a plot to begin with. I wonder how popular a YGO movie will be, now that the craze has died down a lot stateside.

NOooooooooooOOOOOOOOO! :waah!:
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

[Pink Floyd fan listening to Queen and hugging trees which is also known as taking care of God's creation with a pair of headphones on listening to Nightwish as loud as possible while writing a novel on a computer in the middle of a field filled with Wolves.]

[Bassist...finally learning Money]

We're doomed. What's wrong with subs? Didn't they show Tokyo Godfathers subbed?
Think happy thoughts.

Well, I'm a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan...YET I am not looking forward to this movie. This project has sounded like a disaster from the start. You know an anime movie is almost certainly doomed when it creates an amazingly bad plot device (the 8th Millenium Item, in this case, even though there were only 7...) and when it's created / animated for the USA FIRST instead of Japan.

This movie may surprise me, but I highly, HIGHLY doubt it...

*shrugs*

There was a small preview in the last issue of Shonen Jump.
The movie hasn't really interested me.

I nearly had a heart attack when I saw this thread. I've never really liked Yu-Gi-Oh...the dubbed version even less...but big screen from series is usually not pulled off too well from my experience.
I'm back to make a post or two every couple years...

Yu-Gi-Oh is pretty bad, but it's still not as bad as Sponge Bob, even if it is going bigscreen. Though I'm not gonna go see it either way.

What is so bad about sponge Bob? I really like sponge Bob! PLease don't say Yu-Gi-oh is worse the sponge bob because I (personally) think Yu-Gi-oh is demonic or even kind of satanic (cause of all the demons as good guys and there's some demon worshiping and stuff) and I really love sponge bob.
