It's football time again and so it must also be Fantasy Football time!

I've got a league going over on Yahoo, for all interested parties - no matter the level of experience you are welcome. If you have considered playing before but don't really know how, then this is a good place to learn.

At the risk of double posting, I'd like to open up discussion on the rosters/scoring.

I've set a team defense this year instead of my traditional favored drafting of individual defensive players. That's the only change I really made. LEt me know what you think about that or any other scoring/roster ideas you have.

Team D's are fine with me, that's sort of what I'm used too...

It'll certainly making drafting a bit easier, since we only have to pick one actual defense instead of every position on defense.

Welcome aboard. We've got 4, so that's enough to run the league. I'm hoping a few more will join, though.

I'm really starting to look forward to this now especially since the team I tried to make for a public league has yet to be assigned a league. No matter what happens this should be interesting...the last time we had four teams we were all pretty equal talent wise and it created some intriguing match-ups...hopefully the same thing will happen this time.

yay! I'm excited for this. Even with only four players it should turn out to be an interesting year...

The draft has been set. Hopefully it's complete before the game tonight.

If not, then I hope your team is not dependent on the Giants or Redskins to win games. There's only 4 teams, so there should be plenty of talent to go around, though.

I think we're going to end up skipping week 1...since no draft has occured yet...

Yeah. Sorry about that. I forgot about the Thursday game - even though this like the third year for starting the season early.

It's cool, it actually still looks like we will be doing week 1...I already got some points...yay!!!

I'm not sure if that will count or not. It may be like pre-season ^_^; - but then we all make the playoffs, so it matters as much as any other game, I suppose

I expanded the rosters to 7 bench positions - equalt ot the number of Offensive starters. The NFL has more bench positions than starting positions, after all.

So everyone has two slots to fill.

The players will be on waivers until Sept 7, so the waiver priority is in effect.

Waiver priority starts in the reverse order of the draft - so the Pandas have first pick on the wire. After that, then your priority depends mostly on how long it's been since you claimed a player off of waivers.
