Daiko review~

Postby Daiko-chan » Tue Apr 20, 2004 1:43 pm

not a bad start you have here,
I like the layout
-the blue tones have a really soothing effect~
CAA-related:
[thread=11252][guidelines to CAA chat on deviantART][/thread] [daCAA]

Christian ministries:
[ApEX] [Boundless] [Focus on the Family] [Orthodoxy Today]

Daiko things:
[online shop] [some artwork at DA] [blog of a saint in training]

:thumb: GOOD totally FREE art programs:
[Art Rage] -emulates traditional media
[Pixia] -this is for digital art and photo editing...

I don't think I will ever post my own autobiographical story in the CAA's Who's Who or in the Welcome Area because as a forumite I was raised so that I should never do such a thing- I am open to change though...

Nice, clean layout! The site seems to be coming along quite nicely. The words are so tiny on high resolutions, though; perhaps you could do a JavaScript check for resolution and adjust font size accordingly? Or, if you switched to a different face/family, such as Arial or Tahoma, that'd make a difference all by itself.

I'm looking forward to seeing your Samurai content!

EDIT: Oh, I almost forgot, be careful about that Freewebs host. I used them once, and they CLAIM no catch, but if you upload 50 files, regardless of their size, you won't be allowed to upload any more for free.

Would you happen to have an AOL account? That comes with several MBs of FTP space. If you have it, I can tell you how to access and use it. If not, though, it may be difficult to find another free host that doesn't bombard browsers with ads.
