Music File Converter

Postby AJV » Wed Dec 17, 2008 9:53 am

Hi Guys,
I just bought a song from Itunes for the first time for my Mom and I look at the file type and it's a MP4 file.
The reason I'm looking for a Music File Converter is because I want to by music to use in my movies that I make by Windows Movie Maker only allows Wav files.
Also I don't want to use Zangoo.
I use Window XP.
Please Help.

Thanks. :)

First you'll need to bypass it's DRM restrictions.

Burn it onto a cd than rip the cd and the DRM will be gone.

And then use Audacity:

I don't know if there's some restriction MP4 can sneak in, but with other media (including streaming music) I've used the simple expedient of playing the file in the appropriate player and using Audacity to record it as it plays.
