CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hey guys!

I'm starting a new website, and I thought some of you might find it interesting. The site is: http://www.holdmeaccountable.org/ and it's pretty much what the name implies. It's mostly for artists, writers, students, and musicians who need to be held accountable for finishing something.

Do you need to work on your piano scales every week? Do you need to study math every night? Have to finish 1500 words a day on your novel?

The site is JUST in the starting stages (literally - we bought the domain name today; I wasn't going to procrastinate on this one, heh heh), so we're not really sure how we want to take it. I'm very open to suggests/comments/etc.

Great! I've enabled the ability for people to create accounts and to post. I forgot to do that earlier. :O)

Ive just joined, yay! Now I can stop doing procrastinating.

I just joined also and posted an Intro about the senioritis I need help with.

But, Mith, your website had an ironic effect. It was helping me procrastinate from cleaning.

I've even added an area called "general discussion" for when you want to procrastinate. Of course, the subject of that area is "Should you be here, or are you procrastinating...?"

I was going to post and tell people not to, but I figured I would wait until it became a problem...

I suspect you will have an influx of members very soon; I am going to recommend it to my Senior class which needs to write a 60-page thesis over two semesters.

Ouch. I remember those days. There are some things about college which I do not miss. Glad you like the idea!

Whenever I can get there I will join I have way to many ideas that I've either started or want to start that I've either never gotten around to or have just stopped working on for no apparent reason.

I'll join soon, because I've got a project I want to finish this summer. But with everything that's going on, I hope this doesn't become one more thing that'll distract me from doing what I should be doing...

Sorry about that. We had another brief outage earlier this evening (related to the other one - but only that site). Things should be fine now.

And Midori - did you just say you'll stop procrastinating later, or you are putting off more procrastination kinda things?

Um...yes.

I mean, actually I joined just now while watching the Olympics. I'll post something real once I get my brain sorted out, which I have scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.

Definitely joining. Being a Musician, I need some help getting to my writing.

I've recovered the system after a weird server crash issue. I'm hoping to track down what happened and smack the server process responsible. >.<

In the mean time, I've fixed the send email scripts so they work. (Ironically, CAA hasn't been working for a few weeks - this is an unrelated incident, though).

Hmm. The system is down, yo.

Yeah... I lost my server last night for some reason. I eventually got it back up. I think, uh, about 5:00.

Welcome aboard! I've updated a few things this morning. I did notice that at least one thread was broken. o.O I have no idea what's going on with that, but I'm going to try and find out later on. I mean, I'm in the middle of something right now...

That came out all wrong for the site in question, didn't it...?
