Although I've browsed some free font download sites there is SOOOO many pages to flip through, and I was hoping someone on here might know their fonts well enough to help me^^

Well, I'm trying to find a font similar to this one which I at least consider to be gothic-latiny, although as far as fonts are concerned, are really neither :/ It just looks sort of old-age calligraphy from the latin days. But anyways, if someone is able to find me a font exact and/or really close to that one, I'd really appreciate it^^

that type would be a form of type called display type

according to Linotype (a type foundry) it would be categorised as a mediaevil style font, or more traditionally as a blackletter

in these categorizations I've found a few... similar faces

Goudy Text Lombardic Capitals

Wilhelm Klingspor Gotisch

I can't find an exact on their site, and generally I'm gonna say that theres a probably some hand done embellishment due to the nature of the sample, and it will be rather hard to find an exact of it.

You can always try the "What the Font" site. Although the options it comes up are pretty much always fonts you have to pay for even if they are really really similar. :(

As for paid vs free fonts, I almost exclusively use paid fonts nowadays. I've learned to appreciate the quality of paid fonts and the work that goes into tweaking them so they look right.
