Firefox's first spyware (that I noticed, anyhow)

I noticed my first piece of spyware on Firefox... It's an annoying little program called "Intelitext" that installed in a flyby... I'm running spybot, but the thing is spybot really only checks for IE stuff... Since spyware makers are getting smart and making stuff for firefox, what should I do to fix this?

NO NO NO NO NO. If it's the company below, it's NOT spyware. It's just the way it looks sometimes. WHERE does it come up? Don't go to that website anymore.

How do you get it?
The simple fact is that you don't and therefore there is nothing on your computer that you need to remove. Consider IntelliTXT to be similar to a banner advertisement that was chosen by the webmaster for his/her site. Some webmasters may choose to implement an optional "opt-out" link for their users so if you aren't fond of IntelliTXT look for this link.

Details:
Although IntelliTXT appears eerily similar at times to previously harmful programs it is simply another advertising method. The important fact is that this particular method has not been designed to cheat or steal revenue from webmasters.

still, even if it isn't spyware, it makes me go on high-alert because it looks like those other spywares. and that ain't kewl.

Spyware hasn't reached FireFox. IntelliText runs on the web server side, your browser does nothing but render it. It's all done by the site. It doesn't spy on you any more than the site itself does.

Basically, it's like a banner ad that the site admin puts in, only it's a little ad link instead of a banner. IntelliText isn't really a bad thing.

Oh... Ok... It looked Identical to another type of spyware that did the same thing, only in all of your websites... False alarm
