Web design/coding

This question is sort of like the "computer science" question. I really like web design and coding web pages. All I know right now is HTML and some CSS, but I'd like to learn perl, php and all that good stuff too. It's the thing I like doing most with computers. I like the coding part a little bit better, but would like to be good with design too. I was wondering how I'd look for a school for that. I was consiering getting a CIW certificaiton or going to westwood, but I don't really know the best path to get into this. any help would be very much appreciated.

Pretty much any "computer science" degree will cover programming theory, including everything you would need to easily pick up new languages.

Perl and PHP are both languages that can be learned from one of the many great tutorials on the internet, btw. Did you want a "quick fix" or are you looking at a four year style school?

I guess more of a school. I want to learn design and all the coding and everything like that.

If you are intersted in the computer side, but want it to look cool, then perhaps this would work:

How about a 4-year education in computer science, and take the "graphic arts" layout / art design classes to an introduction to that part?

Yeah that actually wouldn't be a bad idea, if you want to further learn Flash, then perhaps maybe even minor in graphic design.
