Bizarre Firebird behaviour in Linux

Postby Straylight » Thu Feb 05, 2004 6:59 pm

I'm switching my main system over to Linux instead of using Windows because I prefer it's "programmer friendly" approach.

Anyway, I've noticed this really weird bug in Firebird. When I click and hold the middle mouse button to use the autoscroll feature, it does an "I'm Feeling Lucky" Google on the clipboard contents, forwarding me to another webpage.

My hopes are pretty low because not a lot of people use my setup (few people use Linux) -- nevertheless, has anyone else experienced this?

I seem to think that I read about that somewhere.... have you checked the support site for Firebird? Check the Hints and Tips section there too as well... I swear I read something abou this.

Well, I can't help you with your FB problem, but I just want to congratulate you on converting to linux. I hope the transition goes smoothly.
