Firebird search bar.. fun to play with if you enjoy hacking :)

Even though it takes a few extra seconds to load on my machine, and downloads don't work as well as I'd hoped, I must say Mozilla Firebird is much better than IE in a lot of ways. For example, it blocks popups automatically! YAY!

The really fun part is the search toolbar! At least for people like me, who enjoy trying to figure out how to get the most out of other people's scripting languages

The default search engine is Google.. you see a little "G" and when it's selected, you type something in and you basically have the Google toobar built in right there :) Of course you already knew that if you use firebird. Under "Google" on the dropdown is something that says "add more search engines", and so I'm like YEAH! But then I thought... why install other people's stuff when I can go all artsy craftsy with my mad computer programmin skillz

Anyway, uh, I made 2 more search engine links, one for dictionary.com, and one for onelook.com (a more in-depth dictionary). Unfortunately, uh, it seems I have wasted all of your time because I was going to give you the code for my onelook.src file but it seems that the download page already has 3 of those

darn.

Oh well... anyway, does anybody else here get as big a kick as I do out of going and screwing around with other people's scripting languages and hacking into whatever they can get their little fingers on? or maybe I'm just crazy! :hits_self :dizzy: :forehead: :thumb:
