I think my dad wants to get that or something. We already have a mac and he loves it. That is super cool-looking though!

I have a aging but still pretty ripping dual G4 myself. My "baby" sister has a flat-panel iMac G4 which she likes a lot, but this one is definitely high on sleek points.

Hmm... If I was gonna get a mac, I'd go for a regular (high end) G5 (or 6 or 7 by the time I actually had the money and desire to buy it) Of course, I guess mac fans have always been about form over function... I would love to buy one of these for my parents, though... I mean, it sounds great for people who don't... *sees glaring eyes* Um, I'm gonna go...

Many USB and FireWire (if you have an iMac with F/W) scanners will work. I use a UMAX USB scanner with mine, but I've seen Canon and Epson scanners for sale that are Mac-compatible.

Yeah, I have an HP scanner at work that's Mac Compatible. As for the new iMac, most of my co-workers think it's less "elegant" than the previous ones, but I think it's kinda neat how they packed the entire computer into something roughly the size of a standard old flat panel monitor.

What was particularly elegant about the Fruit iMacs, though? They were designed simply to be quirky. ^^
