Hey you guys, well, I just made my first forum. I pretty much took the rules from CAA because they are THAT good. The name of the forum is Light of the World. It is also a Christian forum.

I need some members, so please someone come!

Dude, it's just another forum to go to. You don't have to join if you don't want to.

Also, there is a music forum for music that one can post that they have composed and also one for tips on how to play instruments well. CAA doesn't have either.

I just felt the need to make a new forum because I wanted to do it, do you have a problem with that?

No you don't need to do that. I am just trying to make my forum an alternate place to post other than CAA, that's it. Sure it may be just like it, but that's because the stuff on here is golden.

You may then ask, why make another forum then? Well, I thought another forum would be refreshing to some. Also please keep in mind that I have posted CAA under the links section so whatever new members that come may also come to CAA.

Yo! Sounds like a cool forum. I'm a big music dude myself, so it'll be fun to post some stuff and see what others think. I'd already have an account, but my web filtering software filters the site because it's a "Newsgroup / Forum" (K9 is great but is an absolute BEAR on maximum security). I'll make a site exception for your forum, but it may take a few days as I don't have the passwords to do that (kind of defeats the point of having a filter). Anywho, until then, NO ONE can take the user name Solid Snake. You dig?

But hopping back on topic, nice looking forum, ADXC. Although, the banner, though it gets the job done, looks rather blurry and sloppy and the colors are a bit too bright and don't blend with the rest of the site's layout. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, because I know you're doing your best, but the look of a site is quite important if you wish to keep it thriving.

And while mimicry in the highest form of flattery, your forum does look a lot like CAA (almost exactly, in fact, besides a few minor changes). Originality is always a nice thing though, but each to their own.

All that said, I wish you luck on your forum, ADXC.

Im not really an expert at banner making. Rocklobster said I should make one, so I did. I don't claim that it is the best it could have been, but well, I don't see other people offering suggestions. I've even heard from Rock and Sorano that it is good.

It doesn't matter what I add, I will always be copying something(Nothing I do is ever original because somebody has already done it.). I am just offering an alternate place to go.

The forum doesn't have to be like CAA, it could be different if I got suggestions, but not many suggest stuff.

That's a rather pessimistic way of thinking. I think you can do better and be more original if you tried.

Although, when you think about it, there are many alternate places to go besides CAA; AA, Wings of Morning, Christianmanga.com, etc.

I just wanted to give you advice to make your's more that just "another site like CAA to go to". Because most likely, if you keep it that way, people will only go to your site if CAA's server crashes (which doesn't happen too often).
