Great Aunt Grace

Postby Shao Feng-Li » Fri Nov 28, 2003 8:54 pm

Today I went to Cloverdale to visit my great Aunt Grace. Only when we arrived at her house did we learn she was on her death bed. She had been in bed for three months. But she was determined. She lead thanks giving. This morning she woke up but couldn't get up. When we got there she was nearly incohereint. But I believe she recognized me. She could only groan though, as I held her hand. Sometime between 2 and 3 PM she died. I saw her die. I thought the worst for her handycap son. Afraid that he would pass out. He's never been away from her for 75 years. I wasn't sad for long because she was a Christian. But I'm very tired mentally. This is something I won't forget.
My grandma says I handled it as a mature adult...

Wow, that's tough. I'll pray for you and your kin.

That's sad. And to see someone die is more than I can handle. :(
