This is one of the poems that i wrote when my parents got a devorce. Mom has ruin my life and how she has hurt me.

Why must it be?
Why must this happen?
Why must we go through this?
Why?

How much of a problem can you solve on your own?
I try and try but I never seem to be able too
They don’t listen
They don’t care
they have so many problems, why must they do it
do they do it to get ride of the pain
why must they do such horrible things to them self

You HEAR me
It Doesn’t help You
It doesn’t wash away the pain
Its not going to stop the pain
It makes more pain

You choose to do this
You choose to make your pain
You take it and you give it
And you give it

You leave for a while then you think you change
We forgive you and you know how you repay us
You hurt us once again
Not just mentally but physically

Now you know you will never be allowed into our lives
into this house
You will never be treated the same

I forgive you
But why should I
Im better off with out you
your better off with out me
the family is way better off with out you
so face it

Your not part of this family any more
I have one thing left to say to you
Good bye

Divorces can be painful (I should know) but try not to dwell on it. And your mother hasn't ruined your life. Only you can ruin your life. Pick up the pieces. Do what you can with what you have. To quote my story: Bitterness brings only hate and hateful is the worst possible thing you could ever be. Hang in there. God can fix it.
"Consider the lilies of the field. They neither sew nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these. If God so clothes the grass, which is in the field one day and cast into the oven the next, how much more will he clothe you, o ye of little faith?

"Mostly I write action/adventure, and while I dislike romance, I seem to end up doing it and I've been told I do so well. To that I give a cliche "Feh.""

Very true, Kesshin.

I hope you find healing soon, doorknob.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.
