love (not a sappy poem)

i have no explanation for this...i am not being negative...and if this is perceived as negative i apologize...

love is not something that is easy to rid oneself of...is it?
you can't wear it like a jacket one day...letting all the world see and then toss it away...
love doesn't seem to care whether you're busy or angry or spiteful or hurting...it just is...
it doesn't care if you have a hard time showing your emotions...if you're female...male...if you're twelve or sixty-six...love is not controlled by anything of this world...so what do you do when your heart is broken but love is still there...you can't tell it to come back later because love won't wait for you...its always there when you don't need it and never around when you're desperate to hear those simple words, "i love you..."
its painful and hateful and overbearing and loud and disturbing...
love just is...
