Ode to Aeron

Postby Angel37 » Mon Apr 25, 2005 7:13 pm

A poem I wrote for my friend, Everett aka Aeron Greywords:

"Ode to Aeron"

Silence of the Lambs.

Walking in the shadows you can see
Things not meant to be seen by any eye
You can feel without feeling, know without knowing
That this is your trial, your end to beginning.

I cannot reach in
Sink down into sin
Rise up from the grave
My soul to now save

Retribution is the Key.

I'm sorry I ever said goodbye to you
You could never do exactly what you wanted to
Because of Fate and all that your unmei binds you to
Seek and ye shall find, a concept foreign and yet true

I cannot yet see
Where you could be
Hiding from the day
In blood they shall pay

Fallen from the Fight

Night, Oblivion,, Twilight, Hell,
Solice, Otrocity, Sacrifice- your name
You fight not for fame but for peace
Does that make you a pacifist? Or a killer?

I'm reaching down
Your heart I've found
Can you not see
Your own worth to me?

I lie among these roses
Screaming for you.

Well, that's pretty deep. This is way past Edgar Allan Poe stuff. Good poem, post more!

That is very good. I love a good poem!
The pattern is nice, the flow of it grabs you, the rhyming is well done, the wording.... I like it!
I agree with Starwarsboy, post more!
