I would if I had money and if there was a store near me that sold them. But I guess I could use Amazon, so really it's just the fact I have no money preventing me from buying it.

I don't know. I want to, but I need the money to do it! I think I will when I have the cash. But that won't be for... a while.

hecks yeah!!! Got volumes 1 of both series pre-ordered already. I'm really glad they are doing this; my old copies of the manga are so worn out now, a couple of them have the pages falling out. plus they're the old flipped volumes from before everyone caught on to releasing series like in Japan. I can't wait!!
My *only* complaint is that I heard this is going to be a bi-monthly release, with 12+volumes, which means it will take two+ years. But I guess It could be worse. It could be Bokurano's release schedule
:(.

I want to, but I don't really have money either. I definitely plan on it once I have a job.

I wonder if they're goijg to be using the original names this time, or if they'll use the dub names like the old tokyopop translation

I think they're using the original. I'm pretty sure that they know a lot of fans are hoping for a more faithful adaption than the Tokyopop translation. I certainly wouldn't like it if they used the dub names, because I just prefer using their Japanese names. But, I guess only time will tell. ^_^

Well remember, the Tokyopop didn't fully use the dub names. I remember people scratching their heads over the name "Bunny," though I think they pulled some BS excuse about "Well her name is actually Serena but everyone calls her Bunny." And the outers kept their Japanese names completely.

SourceAbout.com wrote:Q: One complaint that fans have about the prior TokyoPop editions is how much the characters' names were Anglicized (e.g. "Bunny" and "Darien"). Will the Japanese names, cultural quirks be retained in this new edition of Sailor Moon?
Kodansha: The Japanese names and cultural references will remain intact, and there will be our standard "translation notes" section in the back of the books.
It also says on Amazon and Barnes & Noble in the overview, that they'll use their japanese names when you look up the volumes.

I will be getting the new Sailor Moon volumes right away (the old ones weren't so great), but Sailor V can wait a few years, me thinks.
