Ok, if you y'all are wondering who Yasushi Suzuki is, he is the guy that did the concept artwork for games such as Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Guardian Heroes, and so on(he is one of the guys that works for Treasure Inc). One thing I absolutely hate about the comic book and animation industry in Japan is that they're constantly doing the same exact artstyle, and its gettin' very old(thats the reason why alot of comics and animations from over there haven't interested me much). Well, the series that Suzuki-san is working on, Purgatory Kabuki, uses a unique artstyle that really goes back to the days of traditional ukiyo-e(the traditional Japanese artstyle is finally gettin' some respect), but has it's own unique flare.

There is also going to be an animation and a video game that ties into the manga.

One small problem, the first volume won't be out till Dec '07. Guys, I would definitely keep my eyes peeled for this one.

Yes, the artwork for Ikaruga was pretty amazing, so this could turn out pretty well (though the art for the manga sort of reminds me of the concept art for the original FF games).
