Has this been released in the US yet? There's an outlet here that has all the US tokyopop line, so I'm wondering if I can get hold of it. Thanks :)

Any info on the manga would also be appreciated.

Yes, the .Hack manga is available in the US. In fact, I own volume 1 and will be buying volume 2 as soon as it is available. I really like the .Hack manga--the art is great and it's really very funny. In the first volume, I'd say it leans more toward humor than adventure, which isn't quite what I'd expected, but I really liked it anyway. There is some fanservice, so if you really don't like that kind of thing I'd suggest paging through it in the store before buying. To me, it wasn't enough to detract from a thoroughly enjoyable manga.

it was kinda weird for me to read the .hack manga, after seeing the anime... since the manga was much more happy and bouncy...

I agree, there is quite a difference in tone between the anime (I haven't seen all of it, but I have seen up through ep. 18) and the manga. But I feel that both are very good, in their own respects, and I'm thoroughly enjoying both. But yes, you do have to kind of adjust when shifting back and forth between the two. I like the contrast--you get two totally different styles dealing with the same very interesting plot and concept.

Oh, the music of .Hack//SIGN is awesome! I only have one of the CD's but I'm thoroughly enjoying it enough to go out and buy some more.

Hm, yeah the fan service is pretty noticeable since Reika (that's her name right? the one with the Black Rose ava?) is full body nude in color with the other girls in a hot spring X_X in the openning page of vol. 1.

Legend Of the Twilight manga (and anime for the most part) is waaay more light hearted than the .Hack//Sign anime, no arguments there.

The only thing is, just like with the anime, I got board with the manga seriously fast. Did anyone else share that same experience?

I'm not sure about that but from what I've seen I know the admin don't want double posting. I wanted to talk about it a little to get it out of my system, especially with the new manga coming out and all. I'm starting to be tempted to go out an buy as soon as it's in the stores.... but I must not betray my other titles.... plus I wanted to check out Aquarian Age. So much manga! So little money! :waah!:
