Roaring 20s manga?

Hey all, I'm currently doing some research and wanted to know if there's any manga set in the 1920s (preferably America). I know about Chrno Crusade--is it worth pursuing for reference? Are the settings/characters/etc. accurate? Do you know of any other titles that might help out with this endeavor? Thanks!

I guess I'll be the first to say "I don't know."

I don't know. That would be pretty cool though. That sounds like something you'd have to turn to American comics for.

At this point, I'd look to comics from any country. Or perhaps some good "noir" style novels I could read? You know the type--"it was a hot day but it was only getting hotter. I've got 3 slugs in me, 2 lead, and then she walked in. She was a tall dame, but a dame in trouble. And that's why I'm a private eye" etc.

Not sure if it is '20's, but isn't Chicago set in the gangster era? Or am I mistaken.

and if you want any country, there's always Tintin in America which shows how the Europeans viewed America during this era.

Chicago didn't have much culture involved, just a lot of songs and ... um, not a lot of culter. ^^;

I'm sure there's lots of old movies that cover this era ... I just can't think of any.

Yah for Tintin! Yep, Tintin in America is great for that sort of thing. Also the old D i c k Tracy comics are set in the roaring 20s/early 30s and are very cool and noir-like).

I follow the Chrono Crusade manga. I confess I'm not much of an expert on that time period....

I do somehow doubt that it would be a good idea to take everything as historically accurate in that title however...
