"All of Christian life is ceaseless worship of God the Father, through the mediatorship of God the Son, by the indwelling power of God the Spirit, doing what God commands in Scripture, not doing what God forbids in Scripture, in culturally contextualized ways, for the furtherance of the Gospel, when both gathered for adoration, and scattered for action, in joyous response to God's glorious grace."
- Mark Driscoll

"Believers do not pray with the view of informing God about things unknown to Him, or of exciting Him to do His duty, or of urging Him as though He were reluctant. On the contrary, they pray in order that they may arouse themselves to seek Him, that they may exercise their faith in meditating on His promises, that they may relieve themselves from their anxieties by pouring them into His bosom; in a word, that they may declare that from Him alone they hope and expect, both for themselves and for others, all good things."

Tossed Saiyuki. Can't have it tainting the excellent volumes. And dropping Trigun Maximum and Death Note from the list because I just do not care about them anymore.

Fullmetal Alchemist has a safe spot as the top manga in my collection. Arakawa-sensei has beaten my expectations by a long shot, and it just keeps getting better! :D

As a side note, Vol. 10 is the first one in awhile that I haven't seen a Yoki cameo. Where'd he go...? O_o

I have an announcement!

I finally have in my possession the first manga that I own (I finally bought one--because it was $5). Up to now, I've been borrowing manga from friends, but now I own my own copy!

I am now the proud owner of Fullmetal Alchemist vol. 1!

It'll probably be quite a while before I can buy more, but it's a start. I do plan to own the whole series someday...but that's but a dream now.:eyeroll:
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Four for three deal. Volume 10 (22) is arguably my least favorite of Part III so I decided on that one for the "Free" title.

I bought my first manga today! I am now the proud owner of Bleach volumes 4, 5 and 6! They didn't have any of the earlier volumes in stock unfortunately.

I don't have much manga yet (library person), but recently decided to start collecting Aria, Aqua and Fullmetal Alchemist. So now I have Aria volume 1 (the older, ADV version) - which I got for free as a summer reading prize at the library! - and I have Fullmetal Alchemist volume 1. In hardback. <333 Which makes me so happy.

Does anyone know if Viz is planning on releasing the rest of FMA in hardback, too? That'd be so awesome.

Oh, and I have all of the Kingdom Hearts manga (I, II and CoM) that's released so far. <333 But that's a given. *KH fangirl!*
