I've been sold bootleg CD's by these sellers...and sadly, they continue to sell fakes.

1. Anime Castle - http://www.animecastle.com/

2. Anime Stuff Store - http://www.animestuffstore.com/home.php

3. AnimeCast - http://stores.ebay.com/AnimeCast

If you want to know if you have a bootleg CD, check this site out. You can look up various companies.

Or this one- http://music.3yen.com/category/bootlegs/

If you have been sold a bootleg, please put down the name of the seller.

I've thought about doing this, but what concerned me is that I would be in essence advertising for these guys.

Well, I see this as letting people know about sellers who sell bootlegs. I was cheated over $100.00! And that is money that I will never get back.

I made a thread a while back concerning this, though particularly DVDs, which you can read here.

both anime cast and anime castle have great reviews though... anime castle even was endorsed by Shojo Beat magazine! and anime cast is rated 99.5% positive on ebay.

Well, Anime Castle and Anime Cast is still selling bootlegs music cds. Just about all of their music cd's are from Miya Records.

Miya Records is a company based in Taiwan that releases unlicensed popular Japanese music, including many game and J-pop soundtracks. Miya Records bootlegs are of seemingly high quality (most CDs have slipcases) and almost identical to the official CDs, but they are easy to spot by their "Made In Taiwan" notation and the serial numbers. The products are frequently sold by American and European retailers, as most cannot tell a bootleg from an official product.

I look at Anime Cast ebay store and there is no way these music cds are licensed cds.
