Anchor & Braille -- Felt

Postby Radical Dreamer » Sun Jul 19, 2009 11:53 am

Anchor & Braille, the relatively new side-project from Anberlin's Stephen Christian and Copeland's Aaron Marsh, is releasing their first full-length debut album, Felt, on August 4th! I've been keeping track of Anchor & Braille since about the time Cities was released, so I'm pretty stoked for it! You can hear two of their new songs on their Purevolume here:

My friend just linked me to A&B not too long ago, and sadly, I wasn't as impressed with it as I expected to be. It's not bad by any means, but it just wasn't...I don't know. I'm not sure what I was expecting to hear, but that wasn't it. I doubt I'll be picking up this album anytime soon because of that; there's way too many other albums that just came out or are coming out in the next few months that I would rather have.

Stephen Christian is the singer; Aaron Marsh does some of the production/mixing, as I understand it. Aaron has also sung on some of their earlier songs not listed on the current MySpace.

I can't wait for this! Stephen Christian's voice is magic. So far my favorite song is "Like Steps In A Dance". I've had it stuck in my head all day. XD
