Here's the tracklisting for the new Emery EP that's dropping Oct 28.

1 The Smile, The Face
2 Edge Of The World
3 Say The Things (You Want)
4 Ten Talents
5 It Always Depends
6 Thoughtlife
7 Do The Things (You Want)

You can listen to "The Smile, The Face" on their Purevolume or Myspace Page. It sounds pretty awesome, I'm pretty stoked for this release!

I think this is going to more than make up for the disaster that was I'm Only a Man. That first new track is fantastic.

I actually love "I'm Only A Man." But yes, the new track is pretty freakin cool!

All Emery is delicious.
What are you talking about, Kkun?

I'm talking about how all Emery is not delicious and I'm Only a Man was boring and if the other two records are delicious, then it is like eating Captain D's. :[ (unless you're into Captain D's, then that metaphor doesn't work).

The new song sounds sweet although uneven. If the new ep is as good as "I'm Only a Man" I will be more than happy.

I'm with you there Ichi, I hope that the rest of the EP sounds as good as the first song on it.

New song up on Purevolume! It's called "Edge Of The World." It's interesting...I like it.

I think the new song is completely perfect. It has the "epic quality" that the The Smile, The Face seemed to be lacking. These new songs (esp. Edge) almost sound a little like Showbread on "No, sir".

Emery is one of the few bands that hasn't produced something that I disliked. From the screamy/melodious "The Weak's End" to the sort-of-poppy "The Question" to the incredibly depressing/desperate "I'm Only a Man" to this new ep, it has all been more than listenable. Yes, I am on a word invention spree.
