I just bought The Alchemy Index Vol.I and II and I love it.

I've heard a ton of their older stuff, but I haven't heard any CDs in their entirety besides the Alchemy Index.

Even though The Alchemy Index is amazing, I tend to enjoy songs like "Identity Crisis" or "Stare at the Sun" more.

Which CD do you recommend I go for next?

Get Vheissu and The Artist in the Ambulance and you'll pretty much have all of their best stuff.

Thanks for your input guys.

I can't say I prefer Fire over Water or vice versa.

They're both awesome in their own way.

Holy crap!
Was Thrice a Christian band at any point?

I just read the lyrics to "Identity Crisis" and I'm really confused.

Dustin Kensrue is indeed a Christian. Get Vheissu and it becomes painfully obvious. Heck, listen to some of the songs on Fire and Water and you get that idea.

Yeah, I realized that.

It's like the opposite case of most bands.
They say they're Christian when their lyrics have no reflection of it.

Thrice claims, on the other hand, they are not Christian and their lyrics do reflect it.

Perhaps the primary reason is because the only born-again member is the vocalist/songwriter?

Reminds of Jesse Leach from Killswitch Engage.
