Anyway, I picked other. Lol. Where is Iron Maiden?? I know they started in the 70s as well but they were still quite big in the 80s and are still concidered the best metal band ever (I disagree but they are good).

rocklobster. just cause some may say a group is evil doesn't mean they are and 2 just cause a group isn't christian doesn't mean they aren't listened to by christians. This thread is here to find out what everyone likes as far as metal bands of the 80s go no to start a fight.

But the genre has evolved and changed to include newer and broader types of bands. And rocklobster admitted that he was misinformed about Iron Maiden.
