We've all done it. Wasted our money on CD's or cassettes. So post your least favorite CD you bought and why you feel it's a waste.
For me, it was the B-52's album Party Mix/Mesopotamia . The remix side stunk, (only one good remix) and the Mesopotamia side had only a couple good songs. Guess I'm just too die-hard to give it up though. What about you guys?

Seven Angels: The Second Floor

Out of my 480 or so cds, that's the only one that I've regretted buying. It was a blind buy. The vocals were so horrible that it ruined the rest of the music.

Every New Day's CD. Oh my gosh, it's terrible. I bought it because it said "For fans of Underoath and Thrice." I really like both of those bands, but I was totally caught off guard. It was terrible.

Black Tape for a Blue Girl : Untitled Promo EP

Its got gorgeous sequencing for its style of ethereal gothic music, but the lyrical content is basically useless and includes some moaning about God's cruelty when they were about to leave as if Hyper Calvinism was the only position on soteriology one could ever take.

No kidding. The other day at Wax Trax when I was looking through the Gothic and Industrial sections they were playing some gangta rapper uttering the worst rhymes about murdering the innocent, gloating over entourages of hos, and all the worst garbage with no redeeming points. Eventually, when it came to some song talking about how God is teaching him how to die, I had to resist the urge to say out loud "Yes, die quckly please". As I've been in recent days listening to the Industrial rap group called Stromkern who have something of a social revolutionary bend making me remember the elements I liked about the way rap was, I've come to realize that the whole "Gangsta" movement is the worst thing to ever happen to rap by diluting it of all its redeeming qualities it had at first. You guys who do would do yourselves a lot of good to listen to the old-school rap station on Shoutcast, which is vastly superior.

Probably the Lighthouse Family Album. Some songs were okay but altogether it was too derivative.

The Mars Volta's Frances the Mute album was a waste. That's 9 bucks I'll never get back.
