OK, if you were stranded on a desert island with five CDs, a Discman, and an unlimited supply of batteries, what would the CDs be? For me, it would be:
-Madonna-The Immaculate Collection
-Janet Jackson-Design Of A Decade: 1986-1996
-Debbie Gibson-Greatest Hits
-No Doubt-Tragic Kingdom
-Lisa Lisa And Cult Jam-Super Hits

Hmm . . .
I would have five double-sided CDs with every music track I own on them. Yes.
Technology FTW.
Barring that . . .
Five Iron Frenzy - The End is Here
Fullmetal Alchemist OST
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex OST
Cowboy Bebop OST
Outlaw Star OST

FAILURE - Fantastic Planet
Bad Religion - The New America
Year of the Rabbit - Year of the Rabbit
boysetsfire - The Misery Index: Notes From The Plague Years
BT - Ima
I think this would be diverse enought to last me until I was rescued ^_^

Thousand Foot Krutch - Any CD, preferrably one that has Phenomenon, Rawkfist,

Lets see...
Osc Dis - Mad Capsule Markets (because its my favourite album ever)
Shine - Luna Sea (because its my second favourite album ever)
Polysics or Die - Polysics (because I'd miss the craziness, and I need something bouncy now and again)
Weaks End - Emery (because it's both dark and beautiful, I'd miss the atmosphere - plus they're the only christian group out of the 5)
Discovery - Daft Punk (I'd miss pop music, no matter how appauling the mainstream is, and daft punk make the best dance music)
Having said that, I'd definatally miss Goth metal, Metalcore, grunge and a lot of other genres.
