Ghost in the Shell soundtrack

Postby Scribs » Mon Feb 14, 2005 7:24 pm

I just saw the "Ghost in the Shell" soundtrack at my local cd store for $6.99. Do any of you know if this sounds like a good deal? I have not seen the anime and do not particularly plan to, but if the music is good I might pick it up. Your input?

Is the CD the new Ghost in the Shell soundtrack or the movie soundtrack?

I'm not sure what Ghost in the Shell soundtrack you ar etalking bout. However, I got the soundtrack for Stand Alone Complex "Plus" which a phenomnal soundtrack. I'd give it a 10 out of 10 without hesitation.

He must be talking about Stand Alone Complex. I've never seen the original movie soundtrack here in the U.S. other than an import. And you won't regret buying any Stand Alone Complex soundtrack. I mean comeon it's got Yoko Kanno's name on it, and ya can't go wrong there.:)

Seriously I swear anything she touches must just turn into gold... Macross Plus, Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain, Escaflowne, Stand Alone Complex. I'm not even gonna bother to say why it's so good because words don't do it justice.

Exactly, what awesome thing is she doesn't stick to one genre.

Compare Bebop to Stand Alone Complex. In Bebop you got blues and jazz while in SAC, you got techo, pop, and metal. I have yet to hear her other work but I bet they are awesome.
