...(embarassed chuckle) belching.

Yeah, it's true.

I was in the front, right next to the stage, in front of Skillet's lead singer. The place was loud, so I didn't figure anyone would care if I just...well...let go. So I unleashed a realy lound burp...

...right when the music stopped...

John looked at me and said, "Dude, that's the loudest burp I've ever heard!"

I always knew that talent would come in handy!

WOOOP-TI-DOOO!!!! Wow, it's amazing you find yourself proud of that. I don't see why people are so hard pressed to impress celebritys. They are just people who don't know anyone's name, but everyone knows theirs. That's all.

If I may make a suggestion, PumpkinKoRn52.

I can understand what you are saying (celebrities are only people), and I agree with you. But it is not necessary to post in such a manner. You come off as needlessly aggressive, regardless of your intent. Remember, he just happened to burp and catch the guy's attention; it isn't as if he dressed up like a radish and went leaping onto the stage. When I read the story, I thought of it as less something he was proud of and more a funny story.

This was written in an effort to defuse any potential arguments, so I would hope that others would refrain from commenting. If I seemed to be attacking you I apologize, and please rest assured my only intent was to point out the post's apparent negativity for your growth.

As far as I know, John actually knows the names of quite a few people who go to the concerts. Especially those running http://www.panheads.org

Yeah, his old hair rawked. He was like a real life anime character or something. I'm glad he ditched the leather pants though. I had trouble watching Skillet live back in the Alien Youth period because I kept waiting for John to bust out talking like The Leather Man from SNL. And then squeak while on stage. :brow:

PK52, I'm not one of the little fangirls/boys you'll see following trailers to catch a glimpse of one of my fav rockers. Trust me, the guy's very human...

I told him to sign my hat "nice burp". He misheard and signed it "nice burb".

Gilgamesh, one thing, Thank God you are not a fanboy. I hate fanboy/girls almost as much as rappers.

I would gently remind those here that while it is acceptable to have fun, this is a legitimate forum and our posting habits should reflect it.
