I was wondering if any one could recommend any Jpop/Jrock bands that have clean lyrics?

L'arc-en-ciel's lyrics are mostly pretty clean, so try them out for starters.

Chemistry and Gospellers seem pretty clean. I highly recommend "Now or Never" from Chemistry. It's the opening theme song to the new Astroboy series. Gospellers also has a song I really like. It's called "Shin Osaka" and they sing it accapella. They also sing songs with instrumental backup.

If you like easy listening The Uncoloured is a good duo band. They're relatively new and I haven't found a translation of their lyrics yet. However, I saw them in an interview where they talked about their songs and the main ideas of the songs were good.

Utada Hikaru and Boa are two female jpop artists and the lyrics of their songs are clean (at least the ones I found were).

Well that's my 2 cents. Hope that helps.

I think Utada Hikaru is pretty clean...she's pretty popular in Japan, and she just released her first English album here in America. she's both pretty and talented ^_^

XD, well I can't understand what they're saying anyway.... still, it's a good thing to know.

I really like a lot of the songs from Naruto. I highly suggest Haruka Kanata by Asian Kung-Fu Generation and Harmonia by RHYTHM, but I can't say about the rest of their songs... I don't listen to that much jpop/jrock, really, pretty much only songs that I've liked from anime. ^^

If you really like pop, the songs from Full Moon wo Sagashite are pretty good.
