Has anyone heard of the black mages? If you know Final Fantasy then the black mages are i think 6 people that recomposed 10 final fantasy songs into rock/metal. One of those among them is nobou uematsu, the composer of all ff music in general.
Who's heard of them???

Heard of them and have a bunch of their music. I do believe that they were once offering it for free online, although now I see that they have an album out with most of that music - I wonder if it's still free? I'll check into it an post a link to it if I can.

my favourite song is "the desicive battle." and dancing mad takes up some time, with the longest solo in ff history.
I hope that they use 'those who fight further' and 'J-E-N-O-V-A' in ff7: advent children. That would rule!

I reckon though, they should have left "fight with seymour' and recomposed that song when you fight kuja for the final time in ff9. fight with seymour was worse than the original song.
