Your Credit Music?!

Hey! :P here is a fun question for everyone who dreams of making their own cartoon someday! You know how in anime especially there is the begining credits and end credits. And each one has a different song? Well If you could pick two songs to reperesent a story or comic you are working on or plan to do in the future what would they be? Mine would be Switchfoot"meant to live" for the begining and oddly enough "the reason" by Hoobastank for the end credits. I know they aren't christian and that song pretty much is the only hoobastank song I have heard but it really has great lyrics and it works for my story idea. What are your guys songs?! :thumb:

oooo. good question... let's see..... i would pick two songs by fruits basket, but since it's already an anime show, i'm going to have them both be Ayumi Hamasaki songs. lemme fish out my mp3 player, and look for two.
okay, i got them:
Opening: Ever Free (Hal's Mix 2000) [by Ayumi Hamsaki]
Ending: Voyage [by Ayumi Hamsaki]
Jup, I would pick those two. ^_^ Very cool thread, Canface. :thumb:

Since if i ever made an anime it will be full action I would choose a power song... that is a ROCK song! as an opening song.

lets see: Faint - Linkin Park

Havent thought of an ending song...

btw nice thread Canface For God! :thumb:

Since I like irritating music (used to be country, now southern gospel with twang ;)) I would probably chose something that none of you ever wanted to hear. That or a kiddy song because, once again, people spaz out whent they hear for instance the barney theme song. Maybe I could adapt the barney theme song.... my poor anime will have no viewers with songs like that

Beginning: Another Gray Day in the Big Blue World by Sakamoto Maaya
Ending: Beautiful Alone by Weiss Kreuz

I would make an anime movie out of my story Beautiful Alone. If you haven't read it, the link is in my sig. And please post a reply. Please please please... Anyway, my anime would probably make people cry with all the sad music and story matter.

^__________^ Ooo! Ooo! I would love to have my book made into a movie or an anime someday! I actually have this all planned out to a point. LoL

OP: True (trance sunrise mix) - Riyu Kisoka
ED: Something along the lines of Hiru no Tsuki from Outlaw Star

Hmm.. possibly for the fantasy series:

Opening: Pressing on by Relient K
Closing: 24 by Switchfoot

For my Japanese Samurai series:

Opening: Fireproof by Pillar
or Wake by East West
Closing: Swing Swing by The All American Rejects
or Daydream Believer by the Monkees

I can't seem to decide on a storyline to work on, so I'll just choose as if my dreams and aspirations as to who I would want to be were represented in an anime (it would be a samurai story ^^x)

Opening Theme: Through the Night (Outlaw Star OP)
Ending Theme: In The End (Linkin Park)

Rai

Yay!

Hmm...I'm still thinking about the opening and the ending. But, if I do make it to the big time I would have a show where the protagonist transforms from an ordinary girl (that's right, the hero is a female :shady: ) to a superhuman to the song "Shining Star" by Earth, Wind, and Fire  And it'll play while she's kicking butt. But, (oops, heehee) it's just a dream...

*shrugs* If The Traveller's Guide were made into an anime (movie/series), I'd probably just use the same music that I wrote for the game. ^_^

I have lyrics that I want to see given music, so I'd use that, though I want to use it for a live action serial which would be Japanese style (different opening and ending, only one season long at 26 eps (or half a season at 13), Serial rather than Episodic)

I want to see it done hard rock style, but I'm open to other styles if people offer. The lyrics are posted here under Projects: and the bottom listing that was written by Straylight. I just forgot the name, and I'm too lazy to find it.

For the ending, I'd also write more lyrics myself and have a friend write the music, most likely a more subdued song (most anime endings are.)

Completely off topic, but as far as I could tell from my Japanese class, Ongaku (music) can only refer to singerless songs, whereas songs with singing must be called "Uta" Uta is a song that's sung, and Ongaku is a song that's played. As far as I could tell, anyhow.

I have been trying to find the album to make sure I have remembered the song title and lyrics correctly....

Oh well, I believe Precious Death's song "What's the Name of This Song?", (I am not sure if I got that right. I know I am sounding ironic, but that is unintentional and coincidental) could make a very good ending theme song for each episode in a series.

I cannot come up with an opening theme song.... If I ever do, I will post it here.

Opening: Somthing Orchestral/Techno a la Spiderman 1 & 2 or Navras from the third Matrix movie.
Ending: Zips by TMR ( It just sounds cool.)
I would like to have a composed soundtrack for the storyline reguardless of what format it gets put in.

I would implement The Faint - Danse Macabre for the intro since it's so energetic of a song and all, then I would end it with Cursive's - Gentlemen's Caller since the song starts one half fast-paced and noisy then amounts to some pretty ballad.

Actually I would change the opening style to a Jazz/funk/techno combo...

Lets see thats a tough one.....or is it? My opening song would probably Metallica's Enter Sandman and the ending song would be once again Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. Yes I love Metallica ^^6
