you see tomorow at my pool party there will be and old friend there that I have know for most of my life. you could not get us apart. well she is going to be at my pool party and well I realy like her and she sed long ago that she only wants to be friends. well 6 years pas and the next time a came fase to fase with her I was a complet idiet. I just wont some advise.

Well you don't want my advice belive me, but in case you don't mind taking tips from me:

Don't do whatever you did last time that made you seem like an idiot- if you don't do it again, you'll seem "changed"

Be yourself- seriously, if she doesn't like who you are, then how will she want to be emr... more than friends

I don't pretend to be an expert on dating, but if you don't want to come across as stupid, there are some tips.

Yeah, be yourself.

There was a guy who had a crush on me and he'd act just plain goofy when he got around me. I thought it was funny, I didn't think he was stupid.

However, I WOULD have thought he was stupid if he didn't act how he usually did. Then I would have gotten all uncomfortable and wouldn't have acted myself.

So yeah. Just be yourself.

Zip and Heart have it right - be yourself. Don't try to act different when you're around her.

Gypsys right, cause if you do that, its like all those romantic comedy movies , where you see the one kid teach the other to act like the girl likes, and then he realizes that this other girl over here was better suited for him the whole time but he's been looking at this one over there.......... anyway

in short if you act like something you are not to get a girl, then she'll find out sometime, and if its when its serious , or you got married or something, you'll end up being mizerable cause your with someone your not really getting along with. so if you be yourself and let everything go the way it should thats the only way you know 100% sure that your compatable . (also you should be praying the whole time to see if this is the person God has for you, cause what you want and what He wants are sometimes two completely different things.

I would sugest that you not make a move until you know for sure what God thinks, thats my advice.
