He was a great musician, but I really didn't know much about him, so I can't really say much more than that. I guess I should add that I'll pray for his family.

He was awesome in the Blues Brothers.....

The only song he sang that I remember hearing was "I Can't Stop Loving You" from the anime movie Metropolis. Still, it was a good song and its appropriateness with the scene in the movie shook me. Condolences to his friends and family.

His scene in the Blues Brothers were awesome. Anyone with that long a career deserves respect. When I heard the news, a though crossed my mind, they always say showbiz deaths come in threes, first Reagan, now Ray Charles, I can't help but wonder who's next.
