There's a college in Calfornia with an "Anime and Manga" course. I'm aiming for there.

I'm not sure...
Am I actually going to live that long, anyway? *realizes how short-sighted she is concerning the future*
At one time, I was very serious about it...at the moment, I could care less.
I'm so mature... :P
...as I've said before, I am a fickle person. I'm constantly changing my mind about what I want to do with my life. I'll leave it in God's hands for the moment.

At the moment I am considering going to Full Sail in Orlando Florida, pursuing an accredited bachelors in video game design. However, funding is an issue, so I may have to first attend a more local college, for which the funding issue will be nonexistant.

One college in particular is on my mind, point park college in pittsburgh, PA
I want to get into the communcation field, like video editing/specail effects/broadcasting and it seems to me that 3D animation is getting very popular too. Or i would be content with a job that i can play around with adobe photo shop! :D

I attend Cal Poly Pomona in Pomona CA. it's a polytechnic university. My plans are to go into graphic design, but that will require a change of major at this point in time. (if I had the option I would be in a computer graphics program of some sort also...still looking at the school I'm at)

This fall, I'll be finishing my second year at Portland Bible College in Portland, OR. I'll stick it out there until I graduate with my Bachelor of Theology degree. Eventually, I might go on to study for my Master's as well. Upon graduating from PBC, I'd either like to come on staff at a local church for a time, possibly as a youth pastor, after which time I would like to plant a church, or just immediately plant the new church after graduation. My plans are basically for full-time ministry, with particular emphases on pastoral, prophetic, and apostolic ministry.

Wow i am glad that everyone want to go to College. Every one likes graphic desgn and all that stuff. I have tacken a class on it and i wasn't really good at it.
I have found out what i want to do with my life. I want to go to culinary school in San Deago. While i am in culinary school i will do waitressing. and maybe have to jobs. one in the day and one in the night. So i can save money to go to a Junior college. Onece i have enough money and i am done with Culinary School in San Deago, i am going to go to a junior college and get my masters in Business. then save money up so i can start a resturant. I am going to be having to save alot of money for college and for more college. i am going to have to read up on how to spend my money wisely, how to save my money. There is alot of things i will have to learn and read up on. lots and lots of stuff to learn.

I'm aiming high. I hope to study archaeology or marine biology or genetics (haven't decided yet) at Oxford. All of this means I need to get my rear in gear and start saving money and working on scholarships.

I think that would be UCLA. They have a course entitled "History of Japanese Visual Arts: Manga and Anime".

It uses how to draw manga books in the course.

Would take it myself if I went there.
But I dont so GOOO CSU POMONA BRONCOS!

It's my understanding that the Th.M. (Master of Theology) is a postgraduate degree, on a par with most doctorates in terms of time commitment. How long is your Th.B. supposed to take? Is it a graduate or undergraduate degree?

As for the original poster's question, I'm a Rhetoric & Composition major at Ball State University in Indiana (think David Letterman). Depending on how things go, I may be going to Asbury Seminary for my M.Div or MATS (Master of Arts in Theological Studies) next year and possibly get started on the ordination process in the United Methodist Church (which takes a while).

College? Not sure at this point.

I know I wanna do something with Arts and Technology, that's a must, like many of you peoples also want to do, I've noticed. My sister and one of her friends thought VCU would be good, it seems they have pretty good art courses there. Otherwise I'm still browsing.

Hey, I'm still a freshman in high school! I still have time! Just as long as I don't keep saying that til my Senior year.

Hiya Grammarian,

My Th.B is a 4-yr. undergraduate program. When I go on to pursue my Th.M or M.Div, that might possibly be a 3-yr. program. Concerning my Master's, I'm considering pursuing it either through Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA), or maybe even Asbury Theological Seminary. BTW, I noticed you might go for ordination in the United Methodist Church. My folks are currently pastoring in the UMC in a small Hispanic congregation in Wilmington, DE. For a time, I was also involved with youth ministry at another Methodist congregation, much fun ;)

Wow, I have to say Door Nob, you sure are ambitious. 14 and already looking ahead to your furture education.

I never attended College. I have taken some courses, but with little money, and other responsibilities, completing any degree program seams terribly far off for me. Luckely I work for a generous company that likes to see their employees further their education, and often offer to pay for entire courses.

True, the topic of study is not one of choice. None the less it is a free education and not one to be passed up by my self.

I hope you are able to attend the school of your choice and attain greatness in everything you do. (When you get there) ;)

Hey thank Kaji. I am really determined. Which is a real good thing. I am 15. i never chnged it. But, you know there was this quote said. " My age shouldn't matter, but my Maturity should." i don't think age really matters, but it is how you act. Hey good luck with your work and schooling.

Indeed, maturity is somthing that a suprising number of 'growups' seam to lack.

At any rate, my reason for sighting your age was to remind you that your mind may be on college, but you still have much to experiance before you reach that portion of your life.

Do not be so eager to grow old.

I definately agree... college can be very fun or very stressful, no matter how mature you are or think you are. There are days when i wish for high school days....

I currently attend the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. I will probably go for a double major of Philosophy and English, followed by a master's degree in Education. I eventually want to be a high school teacher. :thumb:

On the topic of college, the people at Harvard want to see your ACT, SAT I and three SAT II scores. They also want every score you have received on the test, not just the best. Of course, one wouldn't expect much less from such a high caliber school.

Oh i am not eager to grow up. I just want to be able to be prepard for the world. I like to plan things out ahead of time. I don't want to become a senior and not have any scholarships. i don't want to hassle with appling for a college or finding a place to live. I read books like " Smart women finish rich" because i want to spend my money wisely. i want to beable to save money for college and for a car. The big thing is i just want to be prepard. I don't want to be in my parents situation. I am not going to depend on a man. I depend on my self and my self only. I am indapendent. Do you understand what i am saying?
