Dark Horse proudly presents another of the crown jewels of international graphic fiction -- Astro Boy! Created by the late Osamu Tezuka, a revered animator and cartoonist -- who created over 150,000 pages of comics in his career! -- and considered the Walt Disney of Japan, his Astro Boy was the first manga series to be adapted to animation and became a worldwide phenomenon, making Astro Boy the Mickey Mouse of anime -- a jet-powered, super-strong, evil-robot-bashing, alien-invasion-smashing Mickey Mouse, that is! Exciting, whimsical, and touching, Astro Boy hearkens back to the classic era of comics and animation, featuring stories that readers young and old will enjoy. Don't miss the opportunity to experience this landmark series, never before available in America, each volume featuring over 200 pages in an affordable and convenient pocket-sized format as currently collected in Japan!

Paradigm City. A City of Amnesia. Forty years ago everyone lost their memory...
But humanity continues to survive. They've learned to operate machinery, produce electricity, and go on living each day at a time. Still, there's something missing in a town with no past, no history of what has come before. Roger Smith is a Negotiator, hired to negotiate disputes between parties. And Roger enjoys a reputation of being the best at his job. But he has an ace up his sleeve... a rather big ace. He controls the Megadeus called the Big O, a wondrous piece of technology from before the age of Amnesia. Occasionally, fragments of memories appear, and with them often comes trouble. The Big O comes in handy for subduing such dangers, but does it serve some greater purpose? Together with the unusual R. Dorothy Wayneright and his loyal butler Norman, Roger Smith keeps Paradigm City safe from the nightmare of memories.
The critics say it's Batman The Animated series, meets Giant Robo! Totally awesome series!

Shipping will be next to nothing for this stuff as well! The only reason I'm selling this great stuff is to make space in my collection for even MORE Big O and Astroboy!

Hi.

The administration is presently reviewing this thread, since we don't have a policy on for-sale ads yet.

In the meantime, I'm leaving the thread up, with the proviso that it may be removed if we decide we'd prefer not to have such threads on this forum for liability reasons.

No offense to ZIPO_MASTER*, but any deals made are strictly between him and whoever opts to purchase or bargain, and both him and the purchaser(s) have their own legal responsibilities to fulfill.

No offense taken. I wasn't totally sure it was legal to post this either. I fully understand if it'll locked or deleted. I still think having a trading/selling forum would be good on here.

I will leave this thread up only long enough for people to see the reason why we said no--
1. It violates the "no info-gathering" security provision we have in place
2. There are other free services out there like ebay or yahoo auctions--if you want to sell your stuff there and have a link to it in your sig or something, sure thing, but we don't want outright selling/trading on site. It opens up a far too big can of worms including security issues and payment.

So, to conclude, the answer is no, threads like this aren't viable. This one is closed and will be referenced in the future should these questions arise again.
