I will do what I did last summer-- bum around and miscelanious stuff.

Ouch, I hope they are paying you extra for over time. The music festival does sound interesting though.

I'll most probably work for my home parish. The diocese doesn't assign us anything until after college. I'll probably start training in Shinkendo again, hopefully gain a few ranks. And of course, I'll be watching plenty of anime.

Our family is doing something really cool! Since I am going to be starting college in August on the west coast, and I'm in London, we'd have to go on a long trip anyways, so we're going the other direction, just for kicks. We're going to Frankfurt, then Hong Kong, then Xian, then Beijing, then Tokyo, then Kauai, Hawai'i, then back home to northern CA, at which point I go off to college and the rest of the family comes back to London. *whew* Long trip. Fortunately, we have over a month for this trip. Should be TONS of Fun. :thumb:

I may be going whitewater rafting with my youth group this summer, among other fun things the youth group has planned.

I'm probably moving soon too, and getting a car and a job, this summer is going to hold a lot of changes in my life.

I don't wish to waste my whole summer a way sleeping, but I don't have anything important to do. I would like to learn some programming. I don't like going to any type of camps. Except my church camp, but I'm to old to be a camper and to young to be a junior counsler.

Probably the first thing I'm doing once summer hits is going on a short-term mission to Nashville and Atlanta for 10 days. woot.

Then for the rest of the summer, I'll attempt to get employed or volunteer, and I'll be running around helping organize stuff for my fellowship. Summer retreat!

Summer swim lessons...

Postby Kinkosami » Sat May 08, 2004 10:03 am

I'll be working as a swimming instructor and a lifeguard this summer. Most likely every day, which gets kinda stressful when you have a billion classes to teach. How am I supposed to remember all those kids!? :wow!: This is going to be tough.

Oh well, at least I get paid...

Sorry, I just had to bump this up, since I didn't get a chance to respond to this one earlier. :D

Finally, summer is here! Woohoo!!!

What do I plan for summer...decisions, decisions...

1) Catch up with movies (LOTR, Matrix yeah...I'm really far behind guys  )
2) Pick up reading again (C. S Lewis is my target this summer) I'm loving every page of Mere Christianity
3) Mangaka-ing! I can't express how great it feels to start the ball rolling again. XD Back to the main KCome and 2 side stories + one hundred and one other projects! haha
4) Learn Mandarin and Cantonese. ^_^

Wait a minute....

I still have to complete my research proposal, data collection, analysis and thesis write-up....and that soup thermal processing experiment... and that other paper....and that product development poster...and that oral research presentation......oh bugger

Finishing school.
I've gotten behind, partially because of the recent across-country move, and mostly because of my laziness. So far it runs until August 20th, and I'm really bummed. However, I brought it on myself, and it doesn't sound half as bad as some of the stuff you all have to do...

I just lost my job a while back..due to layoff so now I'm out of work and since school is finished, school too. So now I have nothing to do--err productive that is. If I don't find a job or what-not then I might just work on my web site and get some more skill in programming...possibly game-wise.

I have a lot of things planned for the summer:

1.Work, which starts Monday.
2.Learn to play Warhammer 40,000
3.Buy, build and paint a 1,500-2,500 point Tau army for Warhammer 40,000
4.Read at least 20 books that have nothing to do with school
5.Meet up with college friends at least once
6.Go to the beach (scheduled for the week of July 3)
7.Learn something that will change my life
8.Watch Cowboy Bebop
9.Buy ROTK: Extended Edition, and Dawn of the Dead (Director's Cut) on dvd
10.Start an official CIO at my university devoted to wargaming, since there isn't one right now (sent in the application today ;) )
11.Post a lot on the CAA and TheologyWeb :P
