I was born on Easter. :thumb: Every 7 years or so it circulates and my b-day is on Easter. Well... It was when I was 7, but not when I was 14 and not when I was 21. I guess I'll wait and see when I'm 28!

Field day. That's pretty bad.

But on the lighter side, it could always be worse. It coudl always be something like my 13th birthday which fell on the same day as my grandfather's funeral. Wow, dark memories. I think I'll go to rehab now.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Ditto on the Easter. Not on though, but my birthday falls on it every few years. It was fun and all last time it happened, but not my kinda milkshake, savvy?

Yeah, it's not fun gettin' overlooked because of a major holiday. . .

My friend's birthday is on Christmas so he doesn't get as many presents as you would if you had a birthday not on a holiday. And he travels all over on his birthday.

If my birthday falls on a weekend, it's usually Super Bowl weekend. I guess that amounts to a holiday in America, ne?

I have a friend who was born on December 26. He once got a pair of gloves from an uncle - one for Christmas, and one for his birthday.

No one understood why he didn't think that was all that clever.

I wasn't born on it, but every few years my birthday falls on Mother's Day. My 13th and 18th were both on it. It won't happen again til my 24th though.

My sister's birthday falls on Easter every few years.

My dad was born on the 4th of July. (my great-aunt calls him her "fire cracker baby" )

And one of my friends in high school had a baby on Christmas day.

This isn't a holiday, but my birthday usually falls during National Dance week. I think it's cool and kind of funny. If you don't get why, check my avatar/title.

My one grandpa was born on April fools day...
which is kinda funny...

I wasn't born on a holiday, but...
it always lands on the weekend before Finals Week for the fall semester at my university....
which was horrible because then noone wanted to celebrate! They all wanted to study instead...! :(
