What member would you say had the biggest influence on you? I would hafta say Elric_Kun, because its because of him that I read FullMetal Alchemist and Pita-Ten. ^_^

Hmm...I'd probably have to say the other manga artists. They have such a heart for their work that it's really rubbed off on me...;)

I would say Omega AMEN!! Because he gave me advice on stuff. And he taught me how to spell HALLELUJAH!!

This whole site has just become home so quickly I don’t think I could ever come close to listing all the wonderful people I’ve gotten to know.

Inkhana because she really made me feel welcome when I had just joined and was poking around trying to find my place. (Everyone did, really, but Inkhana especially. ^__^)

Kokoro Daisuke because she’s my buddy and is just cool. And I got started on Saiyuki because of her.

Ren_sama, a buddy of mine offline too, and there’s too much to say! *glomps Ren_sama*

Cobalt Angel: Sent me my first PM when I joined and really gave me a wonderful impression of what everyone at the CAA was like. And she was the one who pointed me to the bishie thread. ^_^

true_noir_chloe: her words have always been a comfort to me, especially during those times where I've sought help or comfort from everyone here. A member I will always truly admire.

Spiritsword: ^_^ It's been such a joy helping out with the trivia contests Spiritsword and chloe run at the Sakura CLAMP Fanclub, and I'm honored to be able to lend my services to Spiritsword, as well as every other member of the fanclub.
Aka-chan: Gets lots of hugs for a long list of ways that she's awesome. x3 And a nice Genjo Sanzo on the side.

I must say that to me EVERYONE at the CAA is an influental person. We have such a diverse crowd from our artists and writers and video-game-aholics. To bring such a large group of individuals together from different corners of the globe and have an almost eutopian harmony (I said almost, teehee) is truly something to be said in this day.

The love flows freely from member to member and there's this glow about everything and every person at the CAA. *SUPER HUGS* Thank you EVERYONE for making this place what it is! Let it continue to grow and flourish in the Lord's love and work. :jump:

I'd have to say Cephas (or St. Peter, or Ingemar, whatever he is now), his play was awesome...and he even let me do a guest segment (which took 4 months  )

Easy answer, everyone. Every member here has something special about them, something unique they bring to the boards and in every conceivable way can be influential. I know, I might end up sounding corny but I just think that's the truth.
So cheers all!

Hmmm... slightly absent member posting again!

true_noir_chole. She's been very encouraging, with what she's been through as far as overcoming depression. She's also very nice, and she's been very encouraging to me in my writing.

Shatterheart. He's helped me in... obedience and respect for authority.

An unnamed former member, in both good and bad ways. We chat roleplay together all the time. Kind of influenced the way I roleplay certain anime characters - making me more tolerant of shonen-ai/yaoi (Please don't ban me for saying that, I'm just saying she's been an "influence" in a slightly dubious direction on me that way). I'm hoping I'm being an influence away from that... I've just been rather tolerant of it in roleplays, but... I was before with other people. I let people roleplay the way they want and kind of go with the flow and rp characters the way I want to. But, this member has also influenced me in many more good ways than anything bad. The member has helped me when depressed, helped me to hate myself less (much like TNC, above) during bad times, and has influenced my sense of humor. My sense of humor is wacky, so is the member's, and the member's humor has influenced mine.

well...ill jump on the band wagon and say everyone.

I mean it though, every single person I come into contact at these forums changes me personally.

Those who influent me the most though are the mods and several of the members I talk to on-line (Zip, True_Noir_Chloe, JMan, InitialDfan) and also several members who I don't talk to but I respect (Mave, Omega, Elric-Kun, Cobalt, etc)

Also all of the people on the sakura/CLAMP fan club thread, you guys are the best!

Sheesh how many of these threads can a forum have in a year? XD

I'm getting tired (past my bedtime and I need to get rested because WERE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD TOMORROWM MORNING!!!) but I'll just say:

UC is definitely one of the more influential CAA members I've known because of his writing.
Zilch for his wacky sense of humor, and
Ink, Gypsy, Pepperkitty, and lots of other people I can remember right now for there amazing art talent :)
Also people (like Volt) who aspire, like me, to go into the gaming industry as a chrsitian video game developer.

As this is quite possibly my last post till I get back from disney world.. GOODBYE CAA! SEE YA NEXT WEEK!

Aww! *glomps Hann* You know I love ya like crazy too, Hann. -_- Just don't call me Bryant. LOL XP.

Outside of that given, I'd have to say Sangoku. I talk to him a lot and I'm even picking up on his lingo. @_@

We have had quite a few of these threads... but I cannot say they will not continue to do good on CAA. Thank you to those who mentioned me. Please continue on the topic in peace (unfortunately, I cannot think of anyone at the moment who has truly influenced me from CAA).

Volt wrote:...

Myself, seriously. I'm not self centered nor trying to brag but. Now that I look back at my life. I've always liked looking up to other people, and I've alway staken a peice of their good side and tried to add it to myself. But deep down inside. I've always had this mental image of a "100% good Volt" and I've taken that and tried my best to copy it.

After all these years I've been through some of the strangest/abnormal issues and most unbarable pain. And look-it. I'm still here! I've let my scars heal and forgotten the past. And to me, that's important. Because that allows me to reach out to others. I'm glad I haven't given up. That I stood up and found the way out. Because now I can be an influence on someone else out in this harsh world.

Other members have helped me and contributed a lot to my thinking and creativeness. But I never really let them /or heard them try to deal with my issues. I've always been alone in my struggle. And the fact that I've survived is what makes me smile. The idea that I had enough faith and spiritual strenght left to just keep trying. To me

The way I've dealt with problems in the past is my influence for the future.

Once I had this conversation with my mother. I was talking about a classmate that I really admire, because she is very smart, athletic, and very friendly and patient, one of the prettiest people I've ever known. And I told her "She doesn't love herself or anything! --she always care about others." then mother said "... Actually, she must love herself very much, because she is satisfied with the person she is, she is able to reach out to others."

I think this is your case mr Volt. You respect yourself enough, and so you are selfless because you have no worries about who you are. You are confident about who you've become. I haven't accomplished this obstacle, but I am trying to overcome it, to be confident in myself so much that I would think about others all the time, and bring out the best in them. I can make a realtion with your past problems, even if you don't talk about them very much. When I see you're happy with yourself and have overcome your big obstacles, I know I can do it too! So, maybe Volt would be my most influential member. :)

Hmmm...another ego-boosting thread? Usually I don't post on these until someone mentions me ( :P ), but I'll break that trend now. Of course this one is different from the others, so consequently I have a different answer.

The only member who has really influenced me in a meaningful way is kaji. If he had not mentioned Warhammer 40,000 in his bio, I would not have decided to buy an army (which I will do in a couple of weeks  ). I in turn got my friends interested in it, and after school is back in session, we will all play together. If only evangelism was this easy...

I believe we just really, really need ego boosting, or at least some of us do. However, this thread has been phrased in a slightly different manner.

Volt because he needs to get over himself and realize he influences people without him saying so...(jk...you really do inspire people, Volt-kun)

Inkhana because she's so nice and inspires me to be nice to people too!

Zarn Ishtare because he's so spiritualy in tune...

And all the mods because I look at a mod posting and think : 'wow they come up with, like, the best advice and the best topics and they are just...the best!' I'm so not sucking up either! I mean it!

And, of course, all the CAA artists who inspire me to get drawing so someday I may rival their wondrous talent! ^_^

God Bless you all!

-Angel
