Where is otakon anyway? I've never even considered it, but that would be a blast.

I've never been to a con, but when I do go - I'm only bringing a set amount of money.

I still dont really get what it is, even after visiting their site. Is it sortof like a cross between E3, anime, and a fashion show?

Otakon cannot be described, it can only be experienced. To anybody curious, I'd just say to them, "Go, experience it!"

Wha? Baltimore?! Well, well - I'll probaly be bugging my parents then. Only an hour away from Baltimore ^^

I was gonna go, but it was to much money... Maybe next year. I'm less than an hour from Baltimore. >_<

I might... I live about 2 hours away from Baltimore.

I've attended the past three, and they were all face-meltingly awesome. It's the biggest anime/game convention on the East Coast, and I'm writing an announcement for it for my anime club at school. I'm thinking I might do a review of it for those who can't go. For those who can, or are considering it: GO! GOGOGOGOGO! Go now! Don't wait for July 30!

My mind is already there, pacing back and forth impatiently waiting for the rest of me. We should have a way to recognize each other or something. Maybe hold a CAA Dinner some night.

That's a good idea SpoonyBard. I can't think of any effective way of recognizing people, though.

Remember, cosplayers: No costume is not a costume. Hehehe.

I wanted to go cosplaying as menchi, singing the song (have someone cosplaying as the translator) Too bad I can afford neither the costume nor the convention...
