Rainbow Student Exchange Program

Rainbow Exchange Program includes round-trip travel (provided by ANA Airways) and living expenses during their stay in Japan funded by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Ashinaga Ikueikai, except for personal expenses irrelative to the program.

Qualifications: (1) Applicant must be 18-25 years old actively enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college degree program]


I fit all the requirements except for one: I'm not actively enrolled in a degree program. I'm still going to try. I'm going to tell them my circumstances about Full sail. I'm going to try for this thing. What do you all think?

I'm going to have to study my Japanese really hard, so I can be good enough before I go. I think if I make a decission to limit my TV and computer, I should be able to pull it off. Time shall tell, but this looks VERY interesting.

BTW, my parents are both disabled, but they're alive.

Hmm, getting past the degree programme barrier could prove a little tricky to be honest. However I wish you best of luck.. that looks like a great opportunity

Awesome, here I am praying you make it. I am currently enrolled in a degree program at a four year university, I know some Japanese. I can write it a bit, speak a bit and read some....I wonder how much you gotta know ?

I have no clue, but I am going to go another route. I'm going to go to a college a bit farther away (in Pasadena) to see if I can enroll in a minor in Japanese studies. If I do that, I'll be able to sign up for this program the next time it comes around. Now, I'm not in a degree program so I don't think the rainbow student thing will happen for me. If I get an associates in Japanese studies, or at least am working towards one, I may be able to sign up for this NEXT TIME.

I'm just wondering what other things I have to learn to get an associates in apanese studies. I still plan on getting a BS in game development at Full Sail, but it wouldn't hurt to have an associates to add to that, especially if I'm going to be using my Game development skills in Japan.

That means, I should be back on here.
