Has anyone ever heard of this? I just stumbled onto it and it looks like a pretty cool service. You can borrow an anime title (they ship it to you.) for 4.00 and you get to keep it for a week before you mail it back in a prepaid envelope. Has anyone ever used this place before?

I've used netflix before. It's $20.00 a month and you can rent as much as you want with no due dates, they send you the next disc when you return one. The problem is that they mail DVD's in evelopes, so they are frequently damaged. One time I got a DVD that was broken in half. I don't know how animeforest works, but be wary of sinking too much money into it and getting burned when the DVD doesn't work.

Hmm, I really should try renting ... but I'm such a chronic collector that the idea of giving it back doesn't sit well.

well you can preview the anime, if you like, it then you buy it instead of getting stuck with something you despise and could of bought a anime you actually liked.
Im thinking of renting Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
